Many of us can relate to various external phenomena connected to covert harassment. Where we as ‘targeted individuals’ tend to differ from one another is the level of harassment we experience, and where we’re at with our understanding of these things. How we deal with stalking phenomena, that is, how we process these trials and move toward understanding, is the focus of this post. I’d like to share some of my observations about processing of emotions and thoughts and moving toward understanding. -my version of making lemonade from the lemons, as it were.
The world can appear to be a much larger, more complex and darker seeming place when normal life takes a turn for unexpected phenomena like the whirlwind of crap that covert manipulation brings to the party -What the heck is happening?!.. here I was just minding my own business…
Yet what is the unexpected but an opportunity to learn more about ourselves? These are signs that one is taking in a larger/new view of reality; that one is growing. Great surges of growth can feel overwhelming. Feeling overwhelmed often means that we are sorting new bits of information and experience. For every surge of uncomfortable unknown, there is a balancing movement of enlightenment / understanding. Just hang in there and the tides will turn. How long the dark before the dawn lasts depends on external and internal factors.
While we do not have conscious control over the more external influences, we can work at the factors over which we do have control, namely our emotions and thoughts, the internal factors involved in creating our experience of reality. We have control over the ways we process what various symbols mean to us –a common experience of TIs’ is the use of repeating themes in conversation and symbols in props placed in their path. As we develop we learn how our thoughts and feelings contribute to our experience of reality. As our self discovery advances, our personal sphere expands to include factors that were once external and entirely out of our control.
Processing Information
There is a difference between information and understanding, the path between the two seem to be knowledge and emotion.
Information is neutral, it permeates everything and we all have access to a common pool of information. Our personal filters of perception have a lot to do with which bits of information we notice and decide to consider more closely, and which ones we ignore. The pieces of information we notice and decide to consider further, we tend to call knowledge. The pieces of information that have meaning for us yet we are not ready or capable to acknowledge it consciously we can call emotion.
Knowledge is information that we’ve picked up on and tuned into because it appears to perhaps have a deeper personal meaning. Knowledge is information we hang onto for a while and add bits of personal spin to as we experiment to see whether or not it’s useful to us.
Emotion is the underlying current that helps us choose a direction in turning information into understanding.
Understanding is the grand synthesis that happens when we add self-awareness to the sorting and experimenting process. As we sort through our thoughts and feelings and work to accept the parts that fit, and transform or disregard the parts that don’t, we create understanding. Knowledge and emotion are temporary tools. Understanding is lasting and applicable.
To begin to understand something we must turn inwards and consult intuition, our inner sense of knowing. We might ask ourselves questions like:
How does this experience apply to me? What thoughts does the information bring to mind? How do I feel about it? What did I learn, or can I learn, from the situation?
It may be helpful to strengthen self awareness by asking questions like “who is thinking this? { I am}”, “who is feeling sad/joyful/angry? {I am}” as we consider our thoughts and feelings. In this way we develop a stronger sense of Self and consciousness.
When input seems overwhelming or confusing it may be helpful to grab a piece of paper and start writing things down, drawing connections or making notes on how these items tend to make us feel, or think about.
Repeating symbols and themes
For some TIs the constant appearance of repeating symbols and themes can be a whirlwind of input, where meaning seems hard to come by. I’ve found that tracking such patterns is sometimes useful, and other times is a distraction that can lead us in circles if we get too caught up in the external influences. Basically, when we ask the questions How does this feel? and Can I learn from this?, we can determine if it’s something to consider more closely (if it’s meaningful to us personally) or if it’s just someone trying to upset us. If our intuition tells us that it is manufactured synchronicity (someone trying to upset us), it’s probably best to refocus attention to that which brings us joy -something positive, whatever that may be.
I think repetitive tracking of synchronicity (focusing intently on external patterns in stalker behavior) is one of the most common symptoms of the negative version of reality creation. For some people this is one of the first ways we become aware of our hand in creating the reality we experience. This does not mean that such events are our fault, just that reality is becoming more interesting as we develop.
Walking the Path (after all there is a difference between knowing and walking the path)
All the information in the world (even information about understanding, heh) still isn’t a very useful tool when it comes to practical reality. This is where walking the path comes in. While we gather information and work toward understanding, we also encounter individual opportunities to experiment with what we’ve learned. For example, in the thick of things like intense street theater or similar harassment, remembering key concepts can certainly help you stay centered, relatively calm and aware. Coming up with ways to act on what you’ve learned is where things really start to happen. As we begin to discern between that which we do not want in our lives and how to make stronger connections with that which we do want in our lives, the question of how to act, what to do in a given situation becomes clearer.
For a very mundane example (people physically in my space trying to upset me), in situations of intrusive street theater I’ve enjoyed positive results from remembering how mobbing looks from an outside perspective. I picture the illusion of being surrounded, then visualize the truer reality of vast open space and friendly people just beyond the stalker critters. The action in this case is actually walking
When it comes to repetitive symbolism, I’ve found that nearly all of it is manufactured synchronicity. These pieces of info may still provide some interesting things to consider as far as seeing the difference between my self image and the image that others project onto me, but if these kinds of symbolism are making you feel negatively it’s best to realize the manufactured synchronicity aspect. How do you know when something is a manufactured synchronicity? When you play through the symbols and verbal themes, can you see a false picture of yourself, as if it’s someone else’s idea of who you are? That’s it. If you do consider the ideas more closely (take them to heart), just remember that you cannot compare your insides to other people’s outsides -whatever others may think they know about you, only you know the real you (we may share our real selves (self image) with others with whom we build trust and friendship; it is possible to know and be known for our true selves, but someone who shows they are part of a herd mentality is not a real candidate). Only you know what is valid and relevant. Ultimately, you are the judge.
Reality Creation, really?
I remember a dream I had a couple of years before any gang stalking stuff started happening. In the dream I was moving around in a house trying to get away from some big bad scary monster. I would stop in a room for awhile and feel relatively calm and go about some other task, but eventually would have to find another spot when I felt it getting closer again. I noticed how it was as if the dream got more and more intense in exact proportion to how much I tried to ignore the scary bits, until there was finally a larger shock that woke me up from the dream. To me this dream was quite poetic in its simplicity: that sometimes a shock is quite useful for waking oneself up to see what’s going on; to open oneself to additional possibilities.
Why do limits exist? Why do we perceive limits and obstacles if not to learn to grow beyond them? We must see and define our limits in order to grasp further possibilities; in order to free ourselves. Is life a trap? It can seem that way at times, but what does the sensation or feeling of being trapped mean to you? Think about it, what does trapped feel like to you? To me it’s a sign that I have outgrown some perspective or situation; it’s a message from my self that there is more to experience elsewhere; perhaps more viable paths and perspective I can move toward.
There is no right or wrong, we’re all getting to where we’re going. We each have different sets of internal and external influence. As we encounter particularly difficult experiences, and these help us to grow at one rate or another, in one direction or another, one thing is certain: we are developing greater consciousness, and along with that we begin to take more hold of the reigns where our internal and external experiences meet and interact. Essentially we are learning to take a more active part in reality creation.
This doesn’t happen all at once, like everything else, there are degrees and phases of balancing (not to mention others who also add to our experience of reality). We try out this or that feeling or reaction (modulation of incoming information) and we try out this or that perspective or observation (modulation of outgoing information -what we project onto our share of reality).
Does this mean that we create objective reality or is it that we are changing our subjective view of reality? Some of each! –or more correctly, as we take the reigns of reality creation we are choosing to steer toward versions of reality that match up with our intentions. The universe is big enough for a whole bunch of different truths; there is enough room for each of us to be right in very unique ways. As we expand and develop we can find ways of seeing clearer views where even the most dissimilar puzzle pieces all fit together; where each has a place.
Beyond Good and Evil?
While the experiences of targeted individuals are very real, and indeed in most cases there are participants who willfully and knowingly seek to disturb the target, in the larger scheme of things good and evil are subjective perspectives (facets) of the whole of Nature. And one thing nature is good at is balancing it’s various parts and members, in such a way as to facilitate growth of the members and itself as a whole. Is there really an overseeing Others, a grand conspiracy of powerful bad guys out there trying to get me, or are there good guys maneuvering me into situations so I can grow? Nope. But when I feel inclined to see things in conspiracy shades I opt for the good guys scenario.
Consider a black-or-white type of perspective and seeing suddenly that there is a gray area between the two. Not only is there a third option, but there are several more than first appeared to us. Now apply this to the notion that either we do something or something is done to us. If we consider the possibility that there is a vast gray area between the two perspectives we arrive at sorting through new perspectives of what reality is, and how we, as well as other people, affect the ways that reality manifests.
I didn’t ask for stalking, the idea that I somehow created or attracted this horrible set of experiences is offensive!
I do not believe that bad things happen because we need to learn a lesson, nor do I believe that negative experiences are the only path toward growth. What I do believe is that sometimes growth involves taking in a greater portion of unknown/newness than feels comfortable. Any possible negative connotations along the way to greater understanding are subjective and only temporary.
An expanded perspective of reality and how it manifests means that it’s more complex than simply wanting or not wanting something to happen; more complex than deserving or not deserving something. One perspective that tends to come up here is an extreme example of an innocent being harmed (a child kidnapped or worse, etc), and how can anyone think that the innocent chose or attracted such a horrible experience?. Again, reality creation is more complex and varied than this extreme perspective. Bad things do happen to good people, but we can learn from anything that’s placed in our path. Of course this expanding of perspective opens the door of questions like Is there more to existence than one trip through life? Honestly, I think for some people the idea that what we learn and do in life really does make a difference and adds to our being over time.. is rather scary and plays a part in deciding to stay asleep for as long as possible (this explains some of the more-wittingly, yet still pawn-like stalker types, and even some targeted individuals who fall into longer bouts of defeatism –don’t get me wrong, it’s tough! and we all get down sometimes and can’t see the way out, this is natural and par for the course. Try again tomorrow). Having become a target does not mean that you wanted it to happen! Yet it seems that learning how reality works includes figuring out how *not* to play a part in attracting the things we do not want in our lives.
Learning from Negative Feedback Loops
This can be a tricky step for many people because we tend to be accustomed to the idea that we learn things from other people, that all knowledge comes from external sources. So the idea that we can grow and learn from something as dark and daunting as gang stalking tends to strike an eerie chord in a person at first glance because it seems that if we are to see such experiences as opportunities for learning, we must attribute the resulting growth to whatever/whomever appears to be the source. This is a lacking perspective. Negative entities do not seek to give a person understanding, it is only ourselves who can bring understanding. The lemons are just lemons. We are the ones who gather the ingredients and have the idea to make lemonade, or maybe just toss out the lemons ‘cuz they aren’t good any more.
Negative Feedback Loops
So encountering gang stalking bullies is not so much a hard or malicious lesson, as much as one possible side, of one particular stage, in learning more about reality creation. Along with learning what we want to bring into our lives and how to go about moving toward those experiences, we are also learning what we do not want to interact/resonate with and how to move away from those. These two functions appear to work hand in hand in this phase of development.
As many TIs have discovered, when/if stalking events and negative attention are extreme and last for long periods of time, particularly when we feel very confused and just want it to go away, what tends to happen is we let the negative influences (information) into our personal sphere and before we realize what’s going on we start churning out negative projections based on the negative input. One feeds the other, with external foes happy to oblige by feeding us more external negativity. At this stage of realization it can be tempting to rather unconsciously slip into a feedback loop of negative reality creation.
Again, this is not the same as saying that you deserve it, or that you have done something to attract negative attention. These are two common reactions or first stabs at understanding where all the craziness came from. One is a feeling (emotional) reaction –”What could I possibly have done to make someone want me to feel this way?“. And the other is a thinking (intellectual) attempt to understand –”There must be a reason this is happening to me“. These are external modes of processing; considering information and looking outside for possible meaning, but not yet having arrived at the deeper understanding that internal processing brings. And in the meantime…
How to stop/reverse negative feedback looping
As simple as it sounds, stopping negativity begins with focusing on something positive. As difficult as it may seem at times, if you notice yourself starting to feel overwhelmed or turning the same informational pieces over and over in your mind looking for the external patterns, why not try to make an exercise of just stopping and doing something fun. Of course there is a difference between sorting through emotion and thought pieces consciously (which is positive or empowering feeling), and negative feedback loops, which tend to make a person feel helpless. If there are many repeating symbols or themes, pick just one set and decide that when it comes up you will turn your attention toward something else as much as you can. Practice makes perfect. Follow your joy. This might mean playing music, reading a book or running around to charge and release any tension energy –whatever sounds like fun to you. Focusing on something that brings you joy even for just a few moments at a time will add up and make a real difference in your quality of life. And each time you succeed at being joyful you pull further away from the frequency of stalker critters and towards the frequency of like-minded individuals with whom you can share and enjoy each other’s company.
There are many different scenarios so I can’t cover them all here. But a good example of taking the reigns of a rapidly unfolding street theater event would be to engage the people in neutral conversation. Ask a question about what they said. This usually makes it clear very quickly if you are doing more projecting than sensing, or the other way around. If the person responds and the explanation makes sense then it defuses the negativity. If, on the other hand, the person or people snicker and grimace at some ‘inside joke’ then bingo it’s just plain old mob mentality of weaker people trying to upset you.
The funny thing about reality creation is that when we do not take active hold of our share of creating it, something else does. Someone or something is always behind the wheel of our mind and feelings, hopefully it’s ourselves. For most stalker-critters they are so relatively not-behind-their-wheel that they function more like a hive consciousness. As such they read each other and follow this cycling lead. Much like packs of wild dogs, the driving force in a mob is not compassion or rationality, it’s survival, it’s sizing up the stronger being and trying to control it or take it down with pack maneuvering. In short, the reason some of us started seeing gang stalking phenomena everywhere is because we have parted ways with the other way of being, to such a degree that there is now not just a small space, but a growing and large gap between cultural identity (herd behavior) and true individuation. Nature helps those seeking further development by pushing them away from the pack, and helps the pack by letting them do their herd behavior –though we may not understand their need to behave so maliciously, to them it is safety they seek, safety in numbers and not having to think too much about anything. As the two types separate from each other there is dissonance that both feel in their own ways. This too shall pass.
Busting up stubborn negative feedback loops
Sometimes stubborn negative feedback loops require special attention before tuning toward something positive. This can be something simple like the following exercise an acquaintance shared: she sees the negative as tendrils attached to her and as she imagines pulling them off, detaching them, she repeats “detach and release”. Perhaps you want to imagine chopping up the tendrils and burning the bits after you pull them off of yourself. Or maybe you want to blast right through a whole wad of built-up debris, why not Dynamite Your Limitations!
How reality creation appears to be black and white, good versus evil
I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen stalker types change into beastly malicious creatures yelling and flinging control tactics, only to seem confused the moment later. In many situations I see the person at a different time and it’s clear to me that they do not even recall the previous interaction. Now this is not to discount the fewer knowing and malicious types who sometimes control the stalker sheep. These people do exist. This is where it may be helpful to consider concepts like the two paths, which in short, is the concept that as we become more conscious and capable of taking part in reality creation there are two distinct paths, service to others and service to self. It so happens that most TIs are STO types and the few wittingly malicious stalker leaders are STS types. For more exploration of these topics you might consider this aritcle of mine, or do a google search using terms like ‘two paths sto sts’.
Essentially these may seem like the sudden appearance of high good versus evil, and it can be said that the discord between the two polarities is responsible for the suffering of the world, yet I feel strongly that such extreme (black and white) distinctions are sort of early impressions of different ways of interacting with these new powers of reality creation, and that further down the path of development good and evil are not even distinct paths, only tools that we once used to help us grow. After all even those who serve themselves are serving the greater whole.
