As some members have noticed -and grown tired of- I have again been absent for longer and longer periods of time from forums activity and general site email and admin duties. Apologies for those of you who have emailed, posted or PMed me anytime in the last 2 months. My work life had completely taken over my life.

At this point I have decided to close the forums to new registrants. I hope to wade through the backlog of communication. Not sure what is going to happen to the forums. They need to be rather actively moderated, yet my schedule does not allow. I had a post up for some time about seeking mods. Then there was the big fiasco where the couple mods there were all got reset as the only solution everyone was happy with.

I will keep you posted on the forum status here in the blog –as soon as I figure out what I’m going to do. At its inception, the GSJ forums was the only GS dedicated forums that I knew of. Now I know there have been a handful of others that have been around for some time now. I believe those are all public, whereas GSJ forums are private. There are several really good threads that I think may TIs would like to read, so it would be nice if there was more of a community effort to mod the forums.
