As some members have noticed -and grown tired of- I have again been absent for longer and longer periods of time from forums activity and general site email and admin duties. Apologies for those of you who have emailed, posted or PMed me anytime in the last 2 months. My work life had completely taken over my life.

At this point I have decided to close the forums to new registrants. I hope to wade through the backlog of communication. Not sure what is going to happen to the forums. They need to be rather actively moderated, yet my schedule …

I agree that many ‘middle men’ -that is those who are part of the STS hierarchy- function on some basic principles, and that one of these is “it’s a dog-eat-dog world”, and so the best we can do is “look out for number one” –I can see this principle acted upon when it comes to bogus covers like ‘national security’. These are certainly the overt agendas (or cover stories depending on awareness/willing-participation level)
